New year, new blog? I'm not 100% sure about that, but maybe...
I made this post (the first in a long time) on LJ last night about things I want to do this year. One was photography. More. Daily. Not just cats. (I do file photos for every cat who comes into my office while I'm there every day, I'm not totally obsessed with cat photography or anything. There will be no cats in dresses or against floral backdrops. I promise.)
I guess for now, I'm going to leave it at that. I'll post when I upload to Flickr. Maybe I'll post about a photo and why I took it, or why I like it. Perhaps that will lead to posting about me. Or not.
Today's photo: our lovely West Philly home. Or at least, the gnarled chain-link fence in front of it.
Isn't our fence classy? On a rainy afternoon, it was about all I could do to pull my camera out for two seconds and snap a few shots of the rusty glory that encloses our front "yard." Ahhh, Philly. So scenic.

Ohh! Can do that thing where it will cross post a link to lj when you post here? (Otherwise I will forget to come look here).
ReplyDeleteAn RSS feed? There should be a way to do it...
ReplyDeleteLove that shot of the fence Lori!
ReplyDeleteDon't look at my blog, it's not updated!

I'd love to take more photos too... I'm still quite a novice, though. I haven't even learned to use the manual settings on my camera.... I'm interested to see more of your photos as you continue your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope your standards aren't too high!
ReplyDeleteI know enough to fake it. If you ever want to know how to achieve a certain effect, I'll do my best to explain it.
